iCoupon was proud to exhibit at the Airport Experience Conference 2026 in Nashville, joining airport operators, concession partners, and service providers focused on shaping the future of the airport experience.
Held at the Gaylord Opryland Resort from 22nd–25th February, the event brought together the commercial side of aviation for four days of conversation, collaboration, and connection.
What stood out most was the pace at which airports are evolving. The industry is moving beyond purely functional spaces towards environments that are more intentional, more local, and more connected.
Based on conversations across the event, several key takeaways emerged:
- Airports are becoming experience-led environments
Terminals are being reimagined as curated spaces that reflect local culture and elevate the passenger journey. This shift was reflected in the AX Awards, where Nashville International Airport was recognised for its concessions programme and terminal design. - Retail and dining are central to the passenger experience
Concession environments are no longer secondary. They play a direct role in shaping how passengers perceive and move through the airport, while also driving commercial performance. - The Experience Hall shows where the industry is heading
The exhibition floor brought together retail concepts, food and beverage brands, and technology solutions, offering a practical view of how airports are evolving and where investment is being made. - Collaboration is driving progress across the ecosystem
The event reinforced the importance of strong relationships between airports, concessionaires, and solution providers. Open, practical conversations are what move the industry forward. - Airports are seeking better visibility of passenger behaviour
A recurring challenge is the limited access airports have to passenger data. With airlines, security, and concessionaires each holding different data points, there is a clear need for more connected insight across the ecosystem. - Inclusion remains an important priority
The continued focus on ACDBE programmes highlights the importance of building concession environments that are both commercially strong and representative of the communities they serve. - A connected approach to passenger experience is essential
Retail, dining, operations, and passenger care are increasingly interconnected. As complexity grows, so does the need for solutions that bring clarity and control across partners.
As part of this evolving ecosystem, iCoupon supports airlines, airports, and merchants through intelligent digital vouchering. By enabling value to be issued, tracked, and redeemed across partners, we help bring greater visibility, coordination, and efficiency to passenger care, particularly during disruption.
For iCoupon, exhibiting in Nashville was an important step in continuing to build relationships in the North American market – presence matters, consistency builds trust, and meaningful conversations create long-term value.
We would like to thank the organisers and everyone who visited our stand. If you would like to learn more about how iCoupon supports airlines, airports, and merchants, we would be delighted to continue the conversation.
