iCoupon’s now serves more than one billion passengers across its expanding airline, airport and retailer network, marking a major milestone in the company’s continued growth and the increasing adoption of intelligent digital vouchering across the aviation industry.
iCoupon has reached a significant milestone in its global growth, with its airline partner network now able to serve more than one billion passengers across its network.
The achievement reflects the continued expansion of iCoupon’s intelligent vouchering solutions across the aviation industry. Based on passenger traffic data from its airline partners, supported by OAG network data, iCoupon’s contracted airline customers collectively have activated over one billion passengers across stations they are live at with iCoupon, with lots more to come.
While many of these airlines are still rolling out iCoupon across additional airports and routes, the milestone highlights both the scale of the iCoupon network and the significant opportunity for continued expansion within existing partnerships.
Richard Bye, CEO of iCoupon, said:
“Reaching the point where we are able to support one billion of our airline partners passengers is a huge achievement for the whole team, , not only because of the number itself, but also because of what it represents. More airlines are looking for connected digital solutions that improve the passenger experience while simplifying operations behind the scenes. We’re so proud to be supporting that transition across an increasingly global network and the industry as a whole.”
To put the milestone into perspective, one billion passengers is equivalent 12% of the worlds population, or 19.2% of those people who fly every year. It demonstrates the scale of the iCoupon network and the growing demand for intelligent digital solutions across the industry.
The milestone also reflects the increasing collaboration taking place between airlines, airports and retailers as intelligent vouchering becomes an increasingly important part of modern airport operations.
Today, iCoupon’s network includes:
- Close to 200 airline partners
- Over 400 airports
- More than 4,000 retail establishments
- Operations across 56 countries
The company continues to expand internationally, with recent strong growth across the Americas and increasing adoption throughout Latin America, alongside continued network expansion with existing airline partners worldwide.
Unlike traditional voucher systems, iCoupon enables airlines to issue digital vouchers and passenger entitlements directly to boarding passes or other digital credentials, connecting airlines with airports, retailers, hospitality providers and transport partners through a single integrated network.
As aviation continues to invest in digital transformation and connected passenger experiences, iCoupon expects further expansion across both new airline partnerships and existing customer networks.
Richard Bye added:
“This milestone belongs to the airlines, airports, retailers and technology partners who have worked alongside us over the last decade. Every new connection strengthens the network, creating more choice for passengers and helping our partners respond more efficiently when it matters most.
As existing airline partners continue expanding deployments across additional airports and new organisations join the network, iCoupon expects the number of passengers able to benefit from its platform to continue growing.”
